I was just shocked that this was the kind of question they would ask a pageant contestant. I thought it was something like, “What would be better world peace or cure cancer?” I also thought the question and answer portion was to show off charm, poise, and articulation, not what the contestant thought. If they cared what beauty contestants thought, then it would be a written exam, not a beauty contest. You’re so right about Hilton. Basically, he’s an ass.

It amazes me how many related topics you can draw together. I especially like your point about how society assigns defining values to words and people when society would be better off to accept things(people) as they are(within the confines of nobody hurting anyone else)without a connotation of “right or wrong”. It is VERY too bad that honorable discussion cannot be had on these VERY emotion-driven subjects. Your arguments are intellectual, well articulated, with passion (note not emotion) and I wonder why more people don’t chime in?
